Inline Electric's Energy Efficiency Expo is an opportunity for architects, contractors, property managers, and others to stay informed about the newest energy efficient products and strategies. 

Each expo includes dozens of vendors, with their newest energy saving products on display, and important classes in which you can earn CEU credits. We hope you'll come join us! 

CEU 3: SESCO Lighting 12:30p-1:30p

Speaker: Hannah Hall; Southeast Regional Sales Manager, JLC-Tech: A North Carolina native, Hannah moved to Nashville in 2006 as a college student. Shortly thereafter, combining her love for interior design and passion for relationship building, she started her career in the lighting industry. Beginning in residential showroom sales, then transitioning to a local manufacturers’ rep agency specializing in commercial interiors and now has an established career as a southeast regional sales manager for a global commercial lighting manufacturer based in Massachusetts. In her role as regional sales manager, she covers 13 states and over 25 different agencies: providing them with product training as well as her knowledge and expertise in lighting design for commercial interiors. In her spare time, she enjoys playing music, listening to Jimmy Buffett, watercolor and oil painting, and spending time with her husband Ben and their beloved Shelties, Leon and Ophelia.

Title: Managing Influencers of Commercial Lighting Design

 

Description: Lighting tends to become a challenging portion of new construction projects without the right people working together in concert. The construction process comprising the lighting equipment sales channel is highly segmented with many influencers participating. Understanding how these influencers differ and interact is valuable to understand the dynamics of the sales channel. This course shares real world stories from these influencers on the challenges and opportunities for how we can move forward to streamline the process for creating the best value in lighting for owners and occupants of the space.

Her role involves collaborating closely with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure product specifications align with project goals and industry standards. Known for her professionalism and results-driven approach, Stephanie combines technical expertise with exceptional communication skills to build trust and drive success. She is passionate about creating value for clients and fostering long-term partnerships that contribute to sustainable growth. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys tennis, and time with her husband, Bo, her daughter, Hannah and son, Mitchell. And her favorite child, Bear, her miniature dachshund.

Title: Sustainable Lighting Design for Interiors

 

Description: This CEU explores the principles and practices of Sustaining Lighting Design for Interior environments. Participants will gain an understanding of how lighting impacts energy efficiency, occupant health and productivity and environmental responsibility. This course covers strategies for integrating natural and artificial light, selecting energy-efficient technologies, and applying design techniques that meet sustainability standards without compromising aesthetics or functionality. It pays significant attention to current codes, sustainable standards such as Declare, WELL, and FITWELL and provides information to help develop a level of knowledge of manufacturing processes of new sustainable luminaries.

Title: The Importance of Artificial & Natural Lighting Systems in Trauma Informed Design

 

Description: Attendees will gain an understanding of why light and lighting matter in trauma informed design, as well as how we see and how light affects our circadian rhythm. It explains photophobia and its effects of traumatic brain injuries and then discusses light and lighting specific strategies for T.I.D. including topics such as The Quality of Light, Prioritizing Daylight, Controls, Tunable White Light, Mitigating Glare, and other elements which directly aid in the health, safety, and wellness of the traumatically injured and their caregivers.

Before joining Acuity Brands, Brian contributed to industry-shaping advancements at Ephesus Lighting and Lumileds, helping develop next-generation LED sports lighting platforms that improved energy efficiency, broadcast quality, and long-term sustainability. He has led cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of complex lighting solutions — from concept and design to commercialization and deployment.

Brian holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Union College and is known for partnering closely with customers, understanding their unique challenges, and translating technical detail into practical, market-ready solutions. His career reflects a passion for promoting innovation and technology that not only illuminates the game but elevates the entire venue experience.

Title: Outdoor Sports Lighting Essentials

Description: With demand for outdoor sports facilities at an all-time high, effective lighting solutions are essential for extending play, maximizing field usage, and ensuring safe, enjoyable experiences for players and spectators alike.

Through this course, we will explore the latest advancements in LED luminaries and advanced lighting controls, learn key design principles for a wide range of outdoor sports applications, and understand how local codes and regulations influence project decisions. Attendees will also discover how proper installation practices impact system performance, longevity, and user satisfaction.

For Municipal fields to institutional facilities, this course provides the technical insight and practical guidance needed to capture opportunities in one of the largest , and often overlooked, segments of the sports lighting market.
